Zaheer Khan is the one of the successful bowlers in the history of Indian team, and in his career the superstar played the limited over games and also the longer format of the game for the Indian national team , he is the second most successful bowler behind the legendary Kapil Dev and he is also kind of a player who has started playing his domestic career for the team Badodara.

The Indian pacer Zaheer Khan was born in the year 1978,7th October in Shrirampur, Maharashtra, his parents are Bhaktiyar and Zakia Khan, he belongs from a Marathi Muslim family, he also has two siblings as well, his elder brother’s name is Zeeshan Khan and his younger brother name is Anees Khan.

In his childhood day, the superstar attended the New Marathi Primary school and also the K.J.Somalia Secondary School, in the year 1996 the superstar came to Mumbai and there he joined national cricket club and played his cricket with them, with his wonderful performance he made his name in the Vadodara A team and also played the first-class cricket with them, in the final he plays the finals of the Ranji against the Railways, and in that match, he earned the Man of the Match award for scalping 8 wickets by giving only 145 runs against the railways and in the second innings he has taken five wickets by giving just 16 runs.

In 2005 to improve his game he joined the English club Worcestershire county cricket club, he replaced the Pakistani pacer Shoaib Akhtar and in his first match with them he plucked 10 wickets, and he was the first Worcestershire player to pluck 10 wickets in his debut for them, later in June also he took nine-wicket haul against Essex team, though the Worcestershire wicket-keeper dropped a catch of last man Darren Gough and because of that, he missed to complete his 10 wickets haul in the second match.

And in the Indian premier league, he has played for the clubs like Royal Challengers Bangalore, Mumbai Indians, Delhi Daredevils, and also he was one of the mentors for the Mumbai Indians team.

In the international cricket, he has plucked many wickets for the Indian national team and achieved some milestones for them, and now he is also very handy with his batting as well sometimes for the team. Zaheer Khan highest score in test cricket is 75, and in ODI Zaheer Khan's highest score is 34 runs and in the Twenty 20 format, he has the highest score of nine runs.

Zaheer Khan announces his retirement from the International cricket in the year 2015 and in his career he proved to be a deadlier bowler to the left-handed batsman, he has plucked the left-handed batsman for 237 times in his entire career and he was a great asset for the Indian national team.
